The Board of Education's Student Voice Panels program was recognized by the California School Boards Association (CSBA) with a 2021 Golden Bell Award. The Student Voice Panels are hosted by the Board of Education and organized by the Student Advisory Council to provide leadership, advocacy, and civic engagement opportunities to student representatives from all five high schools. The Board of Education has approved a new $8.4 million Cafeteria & Multipurpose Building Project for Marshall Elementary School.
